No build year on this PTV Microcar For Sale, but the PTV was built in Barcelona 1959-61 by a company called AUSA. After Biscuter, PTV was the 2nd most popular Spanish microcar (but the most attractive). Spain was a good maket for microcars until the SEAT 600 introduced a new era of popular motoring.
This car is incomplete, missing its 250cc, single cylinder AUSA engine. Helpfully, the advertiser says that the gearbox, wheels, hubcaps, steering wheel, steering, brakes and pedals are there. Probably the asking proce is unrealistic for an incomplete project, but PTVs can sell for 20000€ when restored, which is not the most difficult restoration in the world. Car is in Girona, Catalunia, about 50kms from the French border and 120kms/1.5 hours from Barcelona.
